Cleaning Your Braces

Hand wash your braces with mild soap and lukewarm water.
Gently scrub with a soft-bristled brush to remove dirt and oils.
Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue.
Do not use bleach, harsh chemicals, or fabric softeners.

Drying Your Braces

Gently press the brace between clean towels to remove excess water.
Air dry completely on a flat surface away from direct heat or sunlight.
Do not wring or twist the brace as this may damage the supportive components.
Ensure the brace is completely dry before wearing again to prevent skin irritation.

Storing Your Braces

Store your braces in a cool, dry place when not in use.
Avoid folding or creasing the braces to prevent damage to the support structures.
Keep away from pets that might chew on or damage the braces.
Consider using the original packaging or a breathable cloth bag for storage.

Maintenance Tips

Regularly inspect the braces for signs of wear or damage to the supportive components.
Clean your braces at least once a week or more frequently with heavy use or perspiration.
Check the straps and fasteners regularly to ensure they maintain proper tension and support.
Consider alternating between two braces if possible to extend their lifespan and allow for proper drying between uses.

Important Note

For optimal performance, we recommend replacing your BRACEOWL braces every 6-12 months depending on frequency of use and care. If you notice any signs of significant wear, reduced support, or persistent odor despite proper cleaning, it may be time to replace your brace.
